Just some memories I want to put down in no particular order, just as they come to me. Gotta do it before I forget them. Even got some non-memory type stuff too. Poke around & enjoy my muddled musings and, if you have time, post a comment so I'll see what you think of the place. Enjoy Yourself!

Neat Baseball Bat Trick
This isn't a post I'd planned, but it's so neat I couldn't help myself. Many of you have likely seen it by now.
It also reminded me of trying to do much the same one summer, resulting in a broken nose and two chipped teeth. I wasn't sure which would have been worse, having the injuries myself and paying for it, or the pain being suffered by a pal, which is what actually happened. I not only got to foot the bill(s), I got to feel the ire of the coach (who had warned me twice previously about it), my Uncle to who I had to repay the bills incurred, the fury of Durwood's parents, or perhaps being tagged with the name 'Strikeout' for the last couple years of school. My pal held no grudge though as he got out of summer school due to 'inability to concentrate as a result of injuries'. Funny thing was, didn't slow him down one iota in the swimming, ballplaying, and other areas. It even made him into a hit with a lot of the girls who 'eased his suffering' so to speak. Until next time, take care and swing the bats carefully.

wow that is amazing! how on earth does he do that!
Yikes! A broken nose and chipped teeth? Baseball really is a dangerous sport. I remember my son (Little League) getting hit in the head by a ball when he was pitching. Another kid actually broke his elbow or something doing some kind of pitch.
I remember another time when my son was running home from 3rd base and the catcher was stooping down getting ready to tag him figuring he'd come sliding in. Instead, Jon jumped over him and got home. It took a long time for the coaches to try to find a rule against it. We were all pretty dumbfounded but it's rather a fun memory. Now see what you've done.... you've got me thinking baseball.
Some pretty neat hand movements there. cool video. I was whacked in the cheek with a soft ball in fifth grade.. Just stood there and looked stunned for a bout five minutes.. lol..
Amazing video! I've never seen anyone do that before!
